Progressive Pedagogy Series II: Teaching Ancient Languages Communicatively, Q&A with Daniela Negro
on Friday, 30 January 2026 at 5:30PM CET (via Zoom)
Finding new and more effective ways of teaching the ancient languages is fundamental to the future of our field. Studies show that communicative approaches to language pedagogy can be more effective than traditional methods for most students. In this Q&A, veteran communicative Latin teacher Daniela Negro will share her experience and advice on how to implement communicative strategies and activities in the classroom, whether you are interested in a full overhaul of your teaching methods or you are simply looking to add a few new tools to your teaching repertoire.
